Capacitive sensing and object recognition surface - more powerful than the touch screen of a smart tablet
  • Hundreds of independent touch points, as compared to 11 on smart tablets;
  • Sensitivity to touch occurs at each of the touch points independently, which does not happen on smart tablets;
  • Recognizes an unlimited number of objects and manipulatives such as cards, blocks and figurines; smart tablets are limited in this capacity;
  • Detects a finger touch upon a detected object, which offers an additional level of interactivity between a user and the manipulatives.

Ultra-Low Blue Light Level

  • Blue light exposure from electronics is increasingly a health concern. While not required by law, Beyond Tablet has been designed to emit blue light at a fraction of the exposure level deemed to be safe by European Union's IEC/TR 62778 standards.

Radio Frequency Radiation Safety

  • The transmitting power of the NFC antennas adopted in Beyond Tablet is only one tenth of the power of a typical home WIFI router.
  • The working frequency of the NFC is a fraction of frequency of a typical home WIFI router.
  • The effective range of the NFC antennas is approximately 10 cm, beyond which the radiation level drops to minimum.
